LIGHT AIRCRAFT PILOT LICENSE - LAPL

If your dream is to fly, now you can do it

by obtaining your LAPL license

The Light Aircraft Pilot title is a qualification issued by the State Aviation Safety Agency so that a person can act as a pilot for recreational use aircraft, that is, for non-commercial purposes. It is a qualification lower than that of Private Pilot. It is ideal for those who want to start in the world of aviation, but do not intend to be professionals in the sector

LAPL License

It is a middle route between an ULM licence an a PPL (A) licence with benefit as:

The Light Aircraft Pilot License (LAPL) is a European license that came into force in 2015 to promote aviation in Europe. Through the LAPL course you can obtain an initial pilot license at a more affordable price.

The LAPL license bridges the gap between an ultralight pilot license and a PPL(A) license, offering advantages such as:

Credit transfer of theory modules (100% of the theory can be transferred to the PPL(A) course, which cannot be done with an ultralight pilot course).

Recognition of flight hours: all flight hours are certified and cumulative (100% of flight time is recognised, while with the ultralight pilot license it is only 10%)

Fly under visual flight rules (VFR) in controlled airspace and/or airports.

Fly at night under night flight rules (NVFR).

Fly certified light aircraft with a maximum take-off weight of 2000 kg and up to four seats.

These perfect conditions, which are not found in other schools in Europe, allow students to be trained in the shortest possible time and also offer them the possibility of both land and sea sports all year round. Our 2 main theory and flight teaching centers are located in Gran Canaria. Our school is authorized by the European and national EASA/EASA state agencies to carry out the final tests (official theory exams) directly in our premises.
